Peel police are investigating two separate motorcycle crashes that sent the drivers to hospital. In Toronto, investigators are investigating a downtown motorcycle crash.

Police say a car and motorcycle collided on Derry Road at Columbus Road, just west of Dixie Road, in Mississauga.

The driver of the car had minor injuries. The motorcyclist had serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The second collision happened at Brittania Road and Convair Drive, north of Highway 401, around 10:20 p.m.

The motorcyclist was the only person involved in the crash. He remains in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Early on Wednesday morning, a motorcycle and a large GMC van collided at Yonge and Elm streets. It happened around 6:15 a.m.

The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, Const. Clint Stibbe said in a tweet.
