The Golden Tresses is the final book in Cobourg-born writer Alan Bradley’s Flavia de Luce series. “This is a great series! Flavia is a witter, clever and lovable character. Her adventures will have you laughing and cringing at the same time,” says Karly Uhl of Essa Public Library.

The Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden prompted this comment from Stephanie Johnson of Devon Public Library: “One of my new favourite authors,”

Margaret Elwood from the Toronto Public Library said about Greer Hendricks’ An Anonymous Girl: “It’s a page turner and would appeal to people who enjoy domestic thrillers.”

Loan Stars’ monthly lists of the top 10 upcoming books are voted on by library staff across Canada and organized by BookNet Canada and the Canadian Urban Libraries Council (CULC). More information is available at loanstars.ca.
