Adventure Enterprises has reportedly sued James, claiming James and his media platform Uninterrupted stole its idea for a barbershop-themed roundtable show.

In the lawsuit, Adventure Enterprises says it pitched James on the idea and had several discussions with Uninterrupted. Adventure Enterprises said James and Uninterrupted created their own show based on a similar idea called The Shop.

Adventure Enterprises is seeking an injunction preventing any more episodes and is seeking cash, according to TMZ Sports, which first reported details of the lawsuit.

A person close to James told USA TODAY Sports that Adventure Enterprises sought payment from Uninterrupted more than eight months ago and were told its claims had no merit.

Two weeks ago, James’ Uninterrupted expressed copyright concerns about a new Alabama football video series called Shop Talk in which former Crimson Tide receiver Julio Jones and Coach Nick Saban and others have a roundtable discussion about various topics in a barbershop.
