WINNIPEG – Bryan Adams will bring his Bare Bones Tour to the Centennial Concert Hall on Feb. 17.
Adams, 54, has pared his music down to its basics for the tour, playing acoustic guitars and accompanied by a pianist.
Adams released the album Bare Bones in 2010, with the performers simply himself on acoustic guitar and harmonica and Gary Breit on piano.
Adams has filled arenas in the past on the strength of his worldwide fame as both a songwriter and performer, started with his breakthrough 1984 album Cuts Like a Knife.
The Winnipeg date at the concert hall reflects the lower-key vibe of the album and tour.
It will kick off a leg of smaller-market stops, including Prince Albert, Sask., and Trail and Vernon in B.C.
