Police end forensic investigation into Bruce McArthur’s apartment

Toronto Police say they have now finished the forensic investigation at Bruce McArthur’s Thorncliffe Park apartment.

Forensic investigators were on site for nearly four months, and first began sifting through evidence on Jan. 19. following McArthur’s arrest. A news release issued by Toronto Police Tuesday morning notes investigators have seized more than 1,800 exhibits and have taken more than 18,000 photographs of the scene and it’s contents.

McArthur, a 66-year-old landscaper, was arrested on Jan. 18 and has since been charged with eight counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Selim Esen, Andrew Kinsman, Majeed Kayhan, Dean Lisowick, Soroush Mahmudi, Skandaraj Navaratnam, Abdulbasir Faizi and Kirushna Kanagaratnam.
