Police looking for man considered armed and dangerous after incident in Marystown

RCMP say Jeff Kilfoy should not be approached; large police presence in Marystown on Saturday

Police are warning the public about a man they say is armed and dangerous after an incident in Marystown on Saturday.

RCMP are looking for Jeff Kilfoy, 37, regarding an incident Saturday in the town. There was a large police presence Saturday afternoon on McGettigan Boulevard, where a violent incident was said to have taken place earlier.

Police issued an advisory at 10:08 p.m. Saturday about Kilfoy as part of their ongoing investigation.

"If Mr. Kilfoy is observed, do not approach as he is considered possibly armed and dangerous," said the advisory.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Marystown RCMP at 709-279-3001, or anonymously to Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
