Boston’s Kyrie Irving doubtful to face Raptors after suffering small facial fracture vs. Charlotte.

If Irving plays — he was listed as doubtful by the Celtics on Saturday — it’s a rematch of two of the conference’s top point guards. Irving is averaging 20.3 points in his first 13 games with the Celtics.

Irving suffered a minor facial fracture on Friday against Charlotte, plus Al Horford has missed two games while in the NBA’s concussion protocol. Boston did not practise Saturday, and their status will be cloudy until game time. Horford was down as probable on Saturday’s injury report. … At 11-2, Boston has the best record in the NBA. … The Raptors are 5-2 this season when making 10 or more three-pointers in a game .… The Celtics are the top-rated defensive team in the league, giving up 94.8 points per 100 possessions.
