Ted Cruz’s Twitter account liked a porn tweet and Twitter got lit about it.

@OhNoSheTwitnt, tweeting after someone using Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s Twitter account @tedcruz “liked” a porn video late Monday night, setting off an internet frenzy. It was gone by about 2 a.m., and Cruz responded Tuesday, saying that it was “inadvertent” and “a staffing issue.” But many on Twitter doubted Cruz’s explanation. For some, such as @brdeprima, the idea that Cruz liked porn on Twitter made him more likable: “Alright, I’m in. Ted Cruz 2020.” On the other side, @HeerJeet tweeted: “Please don’t make me think about Ted Cruz’s taste in porn.”

@SFShoryuken, tweeting about the newly released Season 4 of “Bojack Horseman.” People who have already binge-watched the new season shared their feelings on Twitter. “Bojack is too real but I can’t help but watch it. Makes me feel a lot of things that I didn’t realise I had squashed deep down inside,” @BenNewton_1 tweeted.

@RolandB3, tweeting at Paris Hilton after she asked, “What’s on your mind” on Twitter on Sunday. People really opened up for Hilton, sharing their introspective questions like “What do animals think cars are?” from @mrdavidwhitley. @DJ_TommyD wondered: “Does the refrigerator light stay on when I close it?”

@headfallsoff, after YouTube star PewDiePie (real name Felix Kjellberg) used the N-word during a since-deleted gaming livestream Sunday. Earlier this year, he lost a Disney contract because of an anti-Semitic joke. Kjellberg later said there were “no excuses” for his recent language, but he has received a lot of backlash.
